Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Online or in person in West Sussex
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8 week course for adults delivered for 2 hours each week with recordings available to support practice at home. The course uses a range of mindfulness practises including movement, breath, eating and listening and through these practises we learned to come to the present moment and cultivate a sense of curiosity and kindness rather than judging ourselves. We learn to step out of autopilot. Evaluations of the courses that I have run for adults indicate that all those who have had higher than average levels of stress at the beginning of the 8 weeks were in the average range at the end of the course.

"I would definately recommend this course to everyone. It supports those who feel that they are already in good mental health by reinforcing good practice and gives those who feel a little frazzled time and space to organise thoughts and take time out to recover."
